Information regarding the processing of personal data.

In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679, this data privacy statement explains how personal data are collected and processed through the web site www.giuseppedesiro.it.

Personal data ARE NOT subject to any automatic decision-making process on our part, such as, for example, profiling.

How to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data

Should you deem that your personal data have been processed illegitimately, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (“Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali”)in any one of the following ways:

˗ Hand deliver a written complaint to the Data Protection Authority offices (at the above address),

˗ Send an e-mail to the address: protocollo@pec.gpdp.it.

Please bear in mind that, on first lodging, the complaint must be signed with authentication of the signature, or with a digital signature, or with manual signature (in which latter case, the complaint must be accompanied by a copy of the subject's valid identification document).

 

How are cookies managed

Important notes regarding data processing and Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a data analysis tool provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the Data Supervisor for this site resides within the European Economic Area or in Switzerland, data processing by Google Analytics is performed by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

 

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, short text files that are stored on the device used, to analyze the use of the web site by the user. The information that is gathered through the cookies regarding use of this web site is normally transferred to a Google server and stored there.

 

This site uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This extension ensures anonymity of the IP address by truncation, and thus prevents identification of the visitor. Google LLC guarantees data protection in compliance with standard European contractual requirements. Data that have reached the end of the storing period are automatically erased once a month.

Collection and storing of the IP address may be revoked at any time without retroactive effects. In order to protect data entered using forms present on this site, we use the Google LLC (Google) reCAPTCHA service. This service verifies that you are a human, to protect certain site functions from (ab)use by spam bots (especially in the comments section). Use of this function entails that your IP address and other data required by Google are processed for the purpose of the Google reCaptcha service. In any event, within member states of the European Union and of the European Economic Area, IP addresses are truncated and rendered anonymous before they are transmitted by Google. Only in exceptional cases, the IP address is transmitted to the Google server in the United States and, once there, abbreviated. Google then uses said data to verify how your are using our site, on our behalf. IP addresses provided by reCaptcha will not be aggregated with any other data held by Google.
